Tucked away in the rain-forested slopes of Kilauea Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii, Nottage Cottage truly exists. Built by Jim Nottage’s grandfather, seven generations after the first whaling ancestors arrived in 1833, the Nottage families can still be found throughout the islands of Hawaii, and Nottage cottage is still their favorite place for relaxation and contemplation in its special place among the clouds.

Nottage Cottage Macadamia Nut Toffee started out as a treat made by Sally Nottage for family and friends. As word spread on the unique taste and quality, Sally began making her toffee in limited quantities privately, and for sale through the Kona Wine Market in Kailua-Kona. This special toffee was one of First Hawaiian Bank’s Top 50 Big Island Christmas Basket products, and has been featured since 1999 as the National Horseman Magazine’s Top Ten Holiday Picks.

Nottage Cottage Macadamia Nut Toffee is a one of a kind gourmet treat made only from the finest Big Island products, such as freshly harvested macadamia nuts from the MacFarm orchards south of Kona, 100% pure Kona coffee and estate-grown chocolate from The Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory (the only chocolate of its kind in the world!) The result is an exceptionally unique, handcrafted Hawaiian product.
